Doctor Who Companion meme

May 8th, 2006 (05:59 pm)

Saw this and had to try it...

Which Doctor Who assistant are you?

You are BARBARA WRIGHT. History teacher with a diffrerence, you actually want to make history better. It's not your fault that nobody understands you point of view. You just hooked up with the wrong time lord. Keep your eye out for the Meddeling Monk!

Somewhat ironic that I'm asked to look out for 'the Meddeling Monk' (sic) when he made his debut in the first story without this character. Oh well.

Oddly I ticked 'journalist' rather than 'teacher' in the job description - the rest of the questions mustn't have been sufficiently Sarah-ish.

I didn't tick teacher or journalist, I suspect it was "the history channel" on the tv choices - for the Master I'd ticked Clangers!

The Clangers would have helped me assume the black suit as well. The Master was found watching Clangers in 'The Sea Devils' in 1972.

Good grief, apparently I am Bonnie Langford. I resent this imputation. Makes you appear slightly less monomaniacal in the girlfriend selection department however.

A good character, performed with distinction, I think.

There is a potentially good character there, and Bonnie Langford could have given a good performance were both not buried under the eccentric requirements foisted on them by John Nathan-Turner, a man more at home in 1956 than 1986.
