From almost everybody...

On the twelfth day of Christmas, parrot_knight sent to me...
Twelve tories drumming
Eleven politics piping
Ten oudws a-leaping
Nine roads dancing
Eight whigs a-milking
Seven dogs a-learning
Six samoyeds a-blogging
Five fa-a-a-anzines
Four non-chic geeks
Three arthurian legends
Two humanities-geek things
...and a chocolate in an oxford university.

I am concerned that your family do not know about roads :-)

They do... my father bought me my first road atlas for Christmas in 1978!

Marxist

Worryingly, most of my resolutions actually make a sort of sense:

In 2008, daniel_saunders resolves to...
Spend less time on solipsism.
Buy new politics.
Get back in contact with some old marx brothers.
Cut down on my questioning.
Apply for a new solitude.
Take evening classes in israel.

I probably should spend less time on solipsism and cut down my questioning, although I don't think I need new solitude. Taking evening classes in Israel seems a trifle expensive, though, and I'm not quite sure how to get in contact with the Marx Brothers, given how long they've been dead.

The meme seems to like suggesting people buy new politics, possibly a hint that the meme author despairs of the current political climate.

There are probably other old Marx brothers around, but they might be startled by the attention...
