Twitter followers of Doctor Who personnel have probably already seen this, but OldRoberts953 on Twitter - otherwise Gareth Roberts - has excavated this Victorian advertisement to mark the arrival on British shores of Pope Benedict XVI. Moo!

We're going to a Civil Partnership party in Coventry tomorrow, after which the happy couple will seal their union by going off to protest the Pope.

That directs me to a Talk Talk error page!

Sadly the happy couple decided not to protest the Pope, as you have to pay £25 just to get within protesting distance of him.

Looks as if Dreamwidth is down for the moment - try sebastienne.livejournal.com .

When did we start just 'protesting' rather than 'protesting against'?

I'd meant to type sebastienne.dreamwidth.org anyway...

Good to see lots of people did make the antiPopefest.

I think we started protesting things when we all became American by the back door.
