But which college was Avon at?

The next Blake's 7 - The Early Years CD...

Or Anna Grant, for that matter...

And when can we expect the review...?

No hurry, except that some of us have a Christmas list to put together.

Actually, have you heard any of this series? Cast is impressive if nothing else.

I haven't heard any of this series, and have no immediate plans to get the CD, so you might get there first!

Reminds me of an aside from one of the Eighth Doctor Graphic Novels:

"I'm glad I studied Dalek Cybernetics at Oxford."

Can you remember which story that was in? My memory for the eighth Doctor stories isn't great. My guess would be Children of the Revolution.

It is indeed from Children of the Revolution. The quotation in full:

- Couldn't you make that gadget any sturdier, Theo?

- That piece of genius was assembled from a neutron-flux circuit board, a toaster battery and a pile of hair-pins, you oaf... just be thankful I took Dalek Cybernetics at Oxford!

Thanks! I liked the concept of Children of the Revolution but can't remember how it ended, so will have to check...

I've just seen in the new DWM that, when his memories are probed, the tenth Doctor's brain shows pictures of Izzy, Destrii, Max Edison, Kroton and Frobisher - and the next story sees him return to Stockbridge. The comics continuity is back...

I always had Avon down as a Cambridge man. He's a scientist, after all. Oxford does better on the arts side, I think.

St John's cufflink

Such are the biases of the universities as traditionally viewed, but there are probably some Oxford scientists who might dispute this!

Oh, *God* >_< Keeley Hawes as Anna? Kill me now. It'd be kinder. Someone please take the rights away from this bunch >_

Lots of people really wish it were possible, and may even have tried...

What's wrong with Keeley Hawes, anyway; and who would you cast?
