Temporary colour scheme

June 4th, 2010 (08:38 am)

I deleted my old layout and colourscheme last night in a fit of absence of mind, and have not yet found a satisfactory new balance. Forgive this one - there will be more experiments this evening.

ETA Friday evening: Goodbye to the greens and yellows: this is my 'buff and blue' look, a tribute to the Foxite Whigs. I need an appropriate userpic...

You're forgiven--even though it does bear a certain resemblance to color schemes middle school students typically create. I'm convinced they see color differently than I do.

This one is a little better, but still needs tweaking.

Yes, significantly better.

Are you sure it was absent-mindedness and not LJ just randomly resetting it for their own fun, as happened to me a couple of weeks ago?

It was absent-mindedness - I was very tired, reading for the meeting I had today when I would have done more good being asleep, and for some reason started to meddle with the settings.

It is a particularly repugnant shade of yellow.

I've toned it down a bit - the theme is still 'buff and blue', the colours of the late eighteenth-century Foxite Whig party, but less clashing.
